CHOOSING A COLLEGE MAJOR

Choosing the right major is an important aspect of making the leap from high school to college. It can significantly impact a student's academic journey and overall college experience. I combine an evidence-based program aimed at supporting college students in graduating within four years along with my coaching to help incorporate strategies such as academic planning, goal setting, time management, academic support resources, and proactive advising. Additionally, I help students identify their interests, strengths, and career goals early on, aiding them in making informed decisions about their major and college selection.
My mission is to empower students with confidence in their future and equip them with the tools necessary for academic and professional success.

Academic Planning For College Students

How our Program Helps

Comprehensive Assessments
Our assessments provide valuable insights into students' values, desired work environments and interests. By using this combination, we are able to better determine a major/career where they will not only be successful, but satisfied as well.
Readiness Scales
A thorough checklist guiding students on how to build essential soft skills. We offer two scales-one for college readiness and one for career readiness.
Student Development Transcript
As you complete tasks in the readiness scales, all of your inforamtion will be exported to our development transcript making it easy for students to complete their resumes.
Parent Follow-Up
Once our coaching session is complete, I offer a follow-up call with the parents to answer any questions they may have.
