Frequently Asked Questions
how does your program help my child graduate within 4 years?
The majority of students take six years to graduate mainly becuase they change their major at least one time. Our comprehensive assessments along with personalized coaching help students make informed decisions regarding their academic and professional goals. By aligning these goals early on, we reduce the likelihood of major changes or academic setbacks. My child already chose their major. is your program still beneficial to us?
Yes! I've worked with multiple students who have said they know what they want to do. Sometimes the assessments reinforced that and other times it opened them up to different possibilities they hadn't realized existed. Either way, there are more ways to benefit from my program. The Career Readiness Scale provides a checklist of activities that students need to engage in during college to actively build essential soft skills. These activities are designed to enhance their professional development and prepare them for success in their future careers. The bonus is that as they check things off the list, everything gets exported to the Student Development Tracker where they can easily use it to create their resume. My child just started high school. when should i be contacting you for your services?
Ideally, you should be contacting me around their Sophmore year. I provide a lot of information that will be useful for college tours. It's more benefical to choose a college based on their major rather than the other way around. You want to make sure that the college you choose can meet all of your academic needs. The College Readiness Scale will also provide your student with activities they need to best prepare themselves for college.I keep hearing about a skills gap. what is that?
According to a recent Gallop poll, 89% of employers do not feel that college graduates are hirable while 92% of Chief Academic Officers at colleges and universities believe they do a great job of preparing their students for their careers. The main skills employers feel are lacking are soft skills such as written and verbal communication, problem solving, and managerial skills. The Career Readiness Scale that we provide is key to building the soft skills that employers are looking for.Do you offer a group Rate?
Yes, I offer a group rate for three or more students. The only difference between my Getting Ready pacakage and doing it as a group is personalized assessments are not individually reviewed. Instead, I teach them how to interpret their own assessment and guide them through the rest of the program.
